Molly 4.0 is the newest addition to our fleet of vacuum trucks. Molly 4.0 is different to the rest of the fleet as she is the first S.M.A.R.T – Software Monitored Advanced Recovery Truck.

Molly 4.0 will be used as a live platform to test different technologies identified in our HVT4.0 initiative. Data will be accessed directly from site using cloud services and will be monitored from our office in Johannesburg. The system will also be capable of sending feedback of alarms and automated reports with valuable production data.

The acquisition and analysis of real data from site will provide us with vital insights into our overall equipment effectiveness and improvements that can be incorporated into future designs.

Molly 4.0 will be the first of more S.M.A.R.T’s to be rolled out to the mining and process industries and we look forward to the market feedback.
